Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA is seeking an Electrical Control Panel Wireman in Houston, TX to perform hands-on panel-building and wiring. You will read schematics, mount PLCs, power supplies, terminal blocks, relays, breakers, contactors, VFDs, and safety devices.

Responsibilities include cutting, stripping, crimping, labeling, routing and terminating wires, installing DIN rail and control-panel hardware, drilling and tapping enclosures, testing for continuity, troubleshooting wiring issues, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Experience reading electrical schematics, blueprints, panel layouts, and wiring documents.
• Ability to cut, strip, crimp, label, route, and terminate wires.
• Experience mounting PLCs, power supplies, terminal blocks, relays, breakers, contactors, VFDs, and safety devices.
• Proficient in testing for continuity and troubleshooting wiring issues.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring documents.
• Mount and install PLCs and electrical components in panels.
• Cut, strip, crimp, label, route, and terminate wires inside enclosures.
• Install DIN rail and control-panel hardware; drill and tap enclosures.
• Perform continuity and point-to-point testing; troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, UL 508A, safety and workmanship standards.

Electrical Control Panel Wireman

This is primarily a hands-on panel-building and wiring position. Typical duties include:

• Reading electrical schematics, blueprints, panel layouts, and point-to-point wiring documents
• Mounting PLCs, power supplies, terminal blocks, relays, breakers, contactors, VFDs, and safety devices
• Cutting, stripping, crimping, labeling, routing, and terminating wires
• Installing DIN rail, wire duct, and control-panel hardware
• Drilling and tapping panel enclosures
• Performing continuity and point-to-point testing
• Troubleshooting and correcting wiring issues
• Following NEC, UL 508A, safety, and workmanship standards
