Job summary

Fountain Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical VDC Specialist with 3+ years of electrical installation/design experience and 1+ years using REVIT, AutoCAD, or related software. The role focuses on developing detailed electrical designs and BIM models for commercial and industrial projects in the Carolinas.

The incumbent will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams, ensuring constructible designs and accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years electrical installation or design experience.
• At least 1 year using REVIT, AutoCAD, or related design software.
• Knowledge of commercial/industrial electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Ability to read construction drawings and electrical plans.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed electrical layouts for electrical rooms, underground conduit pathways, equipment racking, and other critical electrical infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain REVIT-based electrical models and construction drawings that meet company and project standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD and related design software as needed to support project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and field teams to develop efficient, constructible electrical designs.
• Coordinate with other trades to identify and resolve design conflicts before construction.
• Revise drawings and models based on field conditions, RFIs, and project updates.
• Maintain organized project documentation and ensure design accuracy throughout all phases of construction.

Your Role: Electrical VDC Specialist
Fountain Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical VDC Specialist with 3+ years of electrical installation and/or design experience and 1+ years of experience using REVIT, AutoCAD, or related software. This senior-level position is responsible for developing detailed electrical designs and virtual construction models that support commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.
The ideal candidate combines strong electrical knowledge with VDC/BIM expertise to create accurate, constructible designs while collaborating with project managers, engineers, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

• Design detailed electrical layouts for electrical rooms, underground conduit pathways, equipment racking, and other critical electrical infrastructure.
