Cognizant in Michigan is seeking a Validation Engineer to create and execute test plans for electrical vehicle features, including cluster, radio, body control module, Telematics and powertrain. You will develop and maintain vehicle-level DVP&R plans and report defects from tests.

You will build and maintain subsystem test benches, perform root-cause analysis, and provide feedback to system requirements to ensure specs are testable and verifiable throughout development and validation phases.

Responsibilities

• Create test plans for electrical features across the vehicle: cluster, radio, body control module, Telematics and powertrain.
• Develop, maintain and execute test plans DVP&R at the vehicle level.
• Report defects based upon test plan failures.
• Develop and maintain subsystem test benches.
• Root cause analysis of issues found.
• Provide feedback on System Requirements to ensure specs are testable.
