Job summary

Power Design in San Jose, CA is seeking an Electrical Trainee to join our growing team. You will be mentored by seasoned Electrical Foremen and deeply involved in installing electrical systems on new projects, with emphasis on hands-on training and safety.

We value teamwork, integrity, and growth. Ideal candidates have 3+ years as an Electrician, NEC knowledge, and OSHA 30 is preferred. Pay ranges from $18 to $43 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrician.
• Proficient knowledge of NEC, local codes, and construction safety requirements.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and fixtures.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using testing equipment to locate the problem.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect systems to identify hazards and ensure compliance with codes.
• Advise management on equipment safety and potential hazards.
• Support site supervision to maintain jobsite safety.
• Maintain current Electrician’s License or ID to meet regulations.
