Power Design in San Diego is seeking an Electrical Trainee to join our growing team. You will work under seasoned Electrical Foremen, involved in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on exciting projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrician.
• Proficient knowledge of the NEC, local codes, and construction safety requirements.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using testing equipment and tools to locate and fix issues.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards and ensure compliance with codes.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Maintain current Electrician’s License or ID to meet regulations.
• Support Superintendents and Electrical Foremen to ensure jobsite safety.
