Job summary

Salamander Solutions seeks an experienced Testing Technician to perform electrical testing for design development, FAT on production cables and heater systems, and support manufacturing activities. The role requires AC/DC testing, cable sample prep, and a proactive safety culture.

The candidate should have 5+ years QA/QC experience in electrical systems, strong problem-solving, and the ability to document results and maintain equipment records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years QA/QC experience in electrical systems.
• Experience with testing equipment and data logging.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform FAT on cables and heater systems.
• Run routine and specialized electrical tests on mineral-insulated cables.
• Support production-related tasks as needed.
• Assist R&D efforts to improve cable performance.
• Maintain inventory of testing materials.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Document test procedures, calibrations, and maintenance.
