Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) seeks an Electrical Testing Technician to test low and medium voltage equipment including switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, breakers, and MCCs. You will ensure products meet industry standards and client specs, while supporting engineering with drawings and FAT execution.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills, with a track record in electrical testing, results interpretation, and adherence to ITPs.

Responsibilities

• The following list of responsibilities is not all inclusive; tasks may be assigned to meet operational needs.
• Test low and medium voltage products including electrical Switchgear, Switchboards, Panelboards, Breaker’s and MCCs.
• Collaborate with Engineering to identify issues with electrical drawings.
• Follow ITPs and perform FATs.
• Maintain records in databases, prepare detailed service and failure records.
• Meet project deadlines with a strong focus on customers.
• Train personnel and supervise teams in varied settings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
