Job summary

TAE Technologies is seeking a highly capable Electrical Test Technician to join our Do Epic Science program in Southern California. You will execute comprehensive tests on components, diagnose failures, and operate advanced diagnostic gear.

You will read schematics and wiring diagrams, document results, calibrate lab equipment, and ensure safety standards are strictly followed in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or trade school certificate in Electrical Technology or related field preferred.
• NETA or NICET certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute Testing: routing, continuity, high-voltage, and insulation testing on components, PCBs, and sub-assemblies.
• Troubleshoot Failures: diagnose root causes of electrical and mechanical failures to component level.
• Operate Diagnostic Equipment: use multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power analyzers, megohmmeters.
• Interpret Documentation: read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Document and Report: maintain test folders, log failures in tracking software, write technical data logs.
• Calibrate Equipment: set up, maintain, and calibrate lab fixtures, environmental chambers, and tooling.
• Maintain Safety Compliance: adhere to Lockout/Tagout, NEC, and OSHA standards.
