Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Electrical Test Tech - 2nd Shift based at the Spring Forest Rd site in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on testing, diagnosing, and repairing UPS systems to meet quality guidelines and deliver reliable products.

You will read schematics, report non-conformances, and work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements, while adhering to ISO standards and 5S+ practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year of electronics testing and troubleshooting experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Relocation assistance is not provided; within 50-mile radius; active duty exempt.
• Preferred: Associate’s Degree in electronics; switchboard/switchgear knowledge; DC battery experience.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot and repair single- and three-phase UPS systems.
• Read electronic schematics to verify specifications.
• Report non-conformances using Quality Management Guidelines.
• Recommend modifications to improve quality, reliability, and cost.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Manufacturing, and Test Engineers to resolve issues.
• Maintain equipment to ISO 9000:2000 standards.
• Identify corrective actions for repair, calibration of tools and equipment.
• Apply 5S+ to keep a clean, organized workspace.
