Job summary

FieldCore is seeking a Tooling Electrician I in Goodyear, AZ to inventory, inspect, test, and complete generator toolkits for site projects. You will update project schedules and ensure timely kit completion after inspections.

You will perform electrical and mechanical inspections, read line drawings, and adhere to safety and quality standards while supporting maintenance and repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0-2 years in tool handling or warehouse environment.
• Electrical schooling or electrical experience required.
• Experience with AC/DC voltages and single/three phase systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inventory, inspect, test, and assemble generator toolkits.
• Maintain warehouse safety and housekeeping per guidelines.

Job Summary

The Tooling Electrician I will be responsible for inventorying, inspecting, testing, and timely completion of generator toolkits required for site project requests. Will update project schedules as appropriate when toolkits are complete and have passed inspection.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping of warehouse to meet safety standards and follow all safety guidelines
• Perform visual, electrical, mechanical, electronic inspection of tools, report and flag any non-compliant items under the supervision of experienced electrician
• Learn to test all generator components on large electrical equipment
• Support the troubleshooting and repair damaged electrical components and equipment as well as preventative maintenance
• Learn to read line drawings for repair and troubleshooting activities and become familiar with electrical codes
• Follow Standard Maintenance Protocols, tasks and adhere to site safety, quality, company, and government requirements
• Help repair and maintain test and industrial equipment and perform quality hand solder repair to the board or component level
• Willingness to be on call for emergency equipment troubleshooting
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that each generator toolkit has the proper tools needed.
• Coordinate, label, and package all generator tooling needed for each outage project.
• Quality assurance check each kit before shipping to make sure there is a kit template and a calibration certificate enclosed if necessary
• Timely completion of kit assembly to meet tool center schedule requirements
• Ensure that kits are delivered with no quality issues (missing parts or non-working parts).
• Review inventory of tools returned from site to ensure all items are accounted for as outlined in inventory sheets
• Clean, reorganize, and relabel all returned toolkits
• Create and submit restock requests for replacement parts and tools
• Complete required, annual safety training
• Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
• Travel may be required
• May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of experience in tool handling or a warehouse environment
• Basic computer knowledge which includes but not limited to the following:
• writing, modifying, and editing text using work processing applications; create and format simple spreadsheets, create basic presentations; know how to forward emails and cc emails; understand how to search, assess search, and download information from the internet
• Electrical schooling or electrical experience required
• Experience with both AC and DC voltages, single and three phase, DC voltages up to 120kv, and AC voltages up to 900KVA.
• Strong team player attitude; maintain flexibility within the changing business priorities
• Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• English Proficiency Required

• Introductory level. Most new hires with little experience on the FC Products will start in this level. Participates in on the job training

Physical Requirements (EU Excluded)

• Must be able to see and move throughout warehouse to resolve work problems and facilitate processes; repetitive motion activities may be involved.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and squatting.
• Ability and willingness to handle repetitive weight up to 40 lbs.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.38 to $34.62. Employees may be eligible for overtime. FieldCore benefits include insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), retirement savings, health and Wellness reimbursement, and a bonus or incentive program.
