Job summary

Teledyne DGO is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to support testing, validation, and qualification of high-reliability products used in subsea, aerospace, and defense applications. You will develop test methods, troubleshoot failures, and ensure compliance with customer and quality standards.

You will collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure robust performance and continuous improvement across the lifecycle of the products. TDY may be required for assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 2-5+ years of experience in electrical testing, test engineering, or manufacturing engineering in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuits, and troubleshooting techniques, including insulation testing (IR, hipot).
• Experience with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, insulation testers, and data acquisition systems. RF experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain electrical test procedures for production and qualification testing.
• Design and support test fixtures, test setups, and automated test systems for electrical assemblies and components.
• Support functional, environmental, and diagnostic testing to verify performance against specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical failures and non-conformances; support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and customer specs to ensure accurate testing and validation.
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to improve product testability and reliability.
• Analyze test data and generate reports, trends, and recommendations for process or product improvements.
• Support new product introduction by developing test strategies and validating designs.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment; ensure compliance with standards.
• Assist with documentation within the quality management system and audits.
