Qualifications

• Knowledge of open vs closed loop system controls.
• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMM, and power supplies.
• Ability to interpret schematics and apply electrical engineering concepts while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Applies technical knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve assigned engineering problems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to plan, coordinate, and implement automated or semi-automated test systems.
• Design schematics for automated test platforms and be familiar with schematics and CAD tools.
• Communicate software and hardware design concepts.
• Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.
• Develop, maintain, and deploy software primarily using LabVIEW.
• Prepare detailed summary reports by collating data from various sources.
• Follow department standards for software and hardware development, including peer reviews and source control.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Develop documentation related to tasks, including test plans and root cause analysis.
