Job summary

Lincoln Tech is seeking an Electrical/EEST Instructor to lead hands-on training in the Electrical Technology program. No teaching experience required; we welcome technicians transitioning into educators to inspire the next generation of electrical professionals.

Requirements include 3+ years of electrical experience, High school diploma or GED, and proficiency with technology. NCCER Instructor Card must be obtained within 3 months, OSHA 10/30 preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related practical work experience in electrical systems.
• NCCER Instructor Card (required within first 3 months)
• High school diploma/GED
• Proficient in technology
• Teaching experience is a plus
• OSHA 10 or 30 completion preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach and provide hands‑on training in Electrical Technology in our fully equipped facility
• Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum using our Blended Learning Model
• Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability through advising and mentoring
• Evaluate and communicate progress with students fairly and consistently
• Teach students about the importance of safety and compliance
• Complete Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT) program
• Prepare students for a successful career in the field of Electrical Technology
