Halliburton is seeking experienced Electrical Technicians for contract opportunities across the United States. The role involves performing maintenance and diagnostics on various electrical equipment, ensuring safety adherence, and assisting with rig operations. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years of relevant experience, and advanced computer literacy. A Technical Certification is preferred. Qualifications
3 years of experience in an electrical field or oilfield operations.
Proficient in electronic and electrical schematics.
Ability to assist with rig up/rig down of electrical equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and diagnostics on electrical equipment.
Ensure safety and efficiency in performing duties.
Assist in rigging up/rigging down electric frac equipment.
Contract opportunities with a high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.

Job Duties
Under general supervision, performs preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairing a variety of electronic and/or electrical equipment relative to their assigned location.
Performs function testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance.
Must be proficient in understanding/interpreting electronic and/or electrical schematics/drawings/prints.
Performs work within a variety of Halliburton specific software and hardware.
Assist with rig up/rig down of electric frac equipment including making electrical connections (which includes heavy lifting of electrical cables), provides "ready-to-operate" job status to job site supervisor and suspends site operation if safe operation cannot be assured.
Ensures adherence, accurate input, and maintenance of data into Halliburton's system of record.
This role is responsible for repairs and/or replacement of three phase power distribution components up to 15,000 volts (medium voltage electricity), PLC hardware, and cabling.
Performs own work and assists others as directed.
Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations.
