Job summary

Anthony Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric, part of TurnPoint Services, is seeking an Electrical Technician to perform residential and commercial installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, code compliance, and high-quality workmanship to keep systems running efficiently for Kansas City-area homeowners.

The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, solid communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years electrical service, maintenance, or installation experience.
State Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Strong safety knowledge; familiarity with OSHA and NFPA 70E; PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, panels, switches, outlets, and lighting.
Installations: Perform new circuit installations, lighting upgrades, panel replacements, EV chargers, and system enhancements.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and load testing to prevent breakdowns and ensure code compliance.
Safety & Code Compliance: Follow NEC, NFPA, and company standards; pass inspections and meet local codes.
Documentation & Customer Service: Complete service tickets with materials, time, and notes; communicate options to customers.
