Job summary

Canon Business Process Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technician I in Houston, TX to perform electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics under supervision.

The role involves installing and replacing lightbulbs, resets, wiring tasks, and maintaining power distribution systems with emphasis on safety. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; Journeyman Electrician certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; Journeyman Electrician certification preferred.
• Knowledge of predictive and preventative electrical maintenance functions.
• Knowledge of electrical machines and tools, including design, use, repair and maintenance.
• Proficient computer skills; AutoCAD experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Installs and replaces lightbulbs.
• Performs breaker resets, ballast and electrical wiring.
• Inspects and maintains primary service installations and power distribution systems.
• Follows basic electrical safety practices such as lockout/tagout procedures.
• Completes work orders and paperwork related to job tasks.
• Performs duties in accordance with departmental and regulatory safety procedures and standards.
