Job summary

Statco-DSI Process Systems is seeking an Electrical Technician in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of electrical tasks including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems. You will ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

As an Electrical Technician on our team, you are responsible for a range of electrical tasks, including wiring, troubleshooting and equipment maintenance. This role involves ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Follow all applicable safety protocols and procedures
  • Install, repair and maintain electrical systems, equipment and components including wiring and connection of instruments, meters, pumps, transmitters, HMI’s, VFD’s, or other industrial equipment being manufactured or assembled
  • Electrical installation and troubleshooting in the shop or in the field at customer sites
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams and technical specifications to determine wiring layouts and installation procedures
  • Test electrical systems and components for functionality, safety and compliance with regulations
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems, identifying root causes and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
  • Replace or repair faulty electrical components, such as switches, outlets and circuit breakers
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations and safety standards in all work activities
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure proper coordination of electrical work
  • Maintain accurate records of the electrical work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports and service records
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as requested/required
  • Maintain updated and accurate professional knowledge regarding electrical technology, codes and standards
  • Provide estimates for material & labor costs related to electrical projects and repairs
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure timely completion of work and customer satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned
