Blake Brothers in Huntsville, AL, part of TurnPoint Services, seeks an Electrical Technician to install, diagnose, and maintain electrical systems for residential and commercial customers. You will apply strong technical skills, follow code requirements, and prioritize safety on every job.

The role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and quality workmanship as you troubleshoot circuits, install EV chargers, panels, and lighting upgrades.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of electrical service, maintenance, or installation experience.
• OSHA and NFPA 70E familiarity; PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Licensing: State Journeyman or Master Electrician License preferred; valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, panels, switches, outlets, lighting, and other components.
• Installations: Perform new circuit installations, lighting upgrades, panel replacements, EV chargers, and other enhancements.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, load testing, and maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure code compliance.
• Safety & Code Compliance: Follow NEC, NFPA, and safety standards; ensure inspections and local code compliance.
• Documentation: Complete service tickets with materials used, time, and notes on work performed.
• Customer Service: Communicate clearly with customers, explain options, and provide recommendations.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with supervisors, dispatchers, and other trades to complete projects on time.
• Equipment Care: Maintain testing equipment and service vehicle in good condition.
