Job summary

ur is seeking an Electrical Technician to perform maintenance and preventative tasks on rental equipment, working safely and professionally. You will fix issues and help customers understand how to operate gear, with opportunities to grow into higher level technician roles within the Service Department.

You will be involved in preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and hands-on repairs while upholding safety standards and providing excellent service to customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment for condition and safety.
• Report equipment condition for appropriate billing.
• Load and unload equipment per DOT regulations for height, width, and weight.
• Clean equipment and prepare for new rental contracts or for sale.
• Explain equipment usage to customers and familiarize them with each piece of equipment.
• Perform minor repairs on rental equipment and tools in a safe manner including component cleaning and replacement.
• Assist higher-level technicians as needed.
• Assist in pickup and delivery of equipment and parts to and from outside vendors and other locations for purchases or repairs.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
