Job summary

Employee Workplace in Morrisville, NC is seeking an Electrical Technician for a temporary 12+ month contract to support data centers, industrial facilities, and power monitoring systems. Pay rate is $25.00–$35.00 per hour DOE.

As part of a growing team, you will install, configure, troubleshoot electrical power monitoring systems, support startup, testing, and validation, and collaborate with engineers and field staff to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training in Electrical Systems, Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
• Experience installing software, operating systems, or technical applications.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of networking, device communications, or system troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with EPMS, BAS, EMS, SCADA, or industrial automation systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot electrical power monitoring systems
• Support system startup, commissioning, testing, and validation activities
• Configure device communications and resolve network connectivity issues
• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Assist with customer training and system optimization
• Document project activities, service reports, and system updates
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and end users to ensure successful project execution
