Job summary

Dynamics ATS is seeking an Electrical Technician for UAV/Drone Systems in a Direct Hire role. This hands-on position focuses on development, integration, and testing of advanced electrical systems for UAVs.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of practical experience in electrical assembly, wiring, and harness fabrication, with proficiency in schematics reading and test equipment. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on electrical assembly, wiring, or electronics assembly.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, pinouts, and drawings.
• Experience with UAVs, robotics, automotive, aerospace, or similar electrical systems.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 / IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards is a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Electrical Technician – UAV / Drone Systems

A well-established global Tier 1 automotive supplier expanding into the agricultural and heavy-lift drone markets is seeking an Electrical Technician for a Direct Hire opportunity. This is a hands-on position supporting the development, integration, and testing of advanced UAV/drone electrical systems.

Key Qualifications:

2+ years of hands-on electrical assembly, wiring, cable/wire harness fabrication, or electronics assembly experience.

• Strong skills with crimping, soldering, connector termination, wire preparation, and harness assembly.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, pinouts, and engineering drawings.
• Experience with PCBs, conformal coating, multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with UAVs, robotics, automotive, aerospace, or other complex electrical systems is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 / IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards is a plus.
• UAV avionics experience including flight controllers, ESCs, GNSS/RTK, telemetry, sensors, and power distribution is a strong plus.
• Must be comfortable supporting prototype builds and flight testing and be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
