Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for its day-shift maintenance team at a Bergen County, NJ-based facility. The role focuses on industrial electrical and controls, troubleshooting complex equipment, and gaining broad exposure to automation.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting 480V systems, VFDs, motor controls, LPs, PLCs, robotics, servo drives and safety circuits, plus reading electrical schematics and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with 480V, VFDs, and motor controls.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and independently diagnose equipment issues.

• Troubleshoot 480V three-phase electrical systems, VFDs, motor controls, and automated equipment.
• Diagnose PLC-controlled equipment using I/O and ladder logic.
• Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC/HMI systems.

• Identify recurring failures and participate in root-cause analysis.
• Read and maintain electrical schematics and documentation.

Compensation: $25-$40/hour + Benefits

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM

A growing, established food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for its day-shift maintenance team. This is a true industrial electrical and controls role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment and wants broad exposure to automation.

• NJ electrical license, journeyman card, or apprentice registration is a plus, not required.
