Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an entry-level helper to support licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems at construction sites in Charlotte, NC. This role emphasizes safety, hands-on learning, and collaboration with the crew.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and are expected to obtain OSHA-10 within six months of hire, with on-site training and structured classroom instruction to build trade skills and knowledge of the construction

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• OSHA 10 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Learns to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under direct supervision.
• Follows detailed instructions to complete basic wiring, conduit installation, and equipment setup.
• Observes and practices safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
• Documents completed tasks and materials used to assist with project tracking, and communicates progress and questions to crew members to facilitate learning and project coordination.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of job sites and workspaces.
• Participates in structured on-the-job and classroom training to develop trade skills and understanding of construction process.

Job Summary
