Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC is seeking a skilled technician to assist in assembling customized Sprinter vans. You will check production orders for completeness, perform tests and repairs on electrical components, and assemble units per drawings and procedures.

Responsibilities include maintenance and installation of electrical systems, data capture, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role requires familiarity with VANIS and related part numbers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electronics, quality methods and concepts.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Microsoft Office (Excel) and QSYS know-how.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of assembly orders for customized sizes and check for completeness and accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vans.
• Install, diagnose, repair, disassemble and reassemble electrical components per procedures.
• Assemble units according to drawings or written directions.
• Execute electrical system assembly and occasional mechanical rework as needed.
• Perform failure analysis and repairs to electrical parts of the vehicle.
• Capture of data related to identified failures and generate tally sheets.
