Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or trade school.
• Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible electrical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, schedules, assigns, and monitors daily work across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general trades.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to staff.
• Participates in hiring, onboarding, and staff development.
• Plans and coordinates preventative maintenance, repairs, and work orders.
• Serves as primary electrical resource and performs advanced electrical troubleshooting and code-compliance work.
• Mainteins electrical systems, motors, controls, transformers, lighting, generators, switchgear.
• Reads and interprets schematics, blueprints, and technical specs.
• Ensures work complies with electrical, building, and safety codes.
• Oversees contractors and vendor work related to HVAC, plumbing, and other trades.
• Inspects completed work for quality, codes, and safety.
• Maintains records for maintenance activities, projects, and materials.
• Assists with facilities planning, budgeting, energy management, and asset preservation.
• Participates in on-call, evening, weekend, and emergency response as required.
