Job summary

Seatrium seeks an experienced Supplier Quality professional to develop and oversee quality plans, inspections, and risk mitigation for EPC oil and gas packages. You will review specifications to translate requirements into SQP, ITPs, checklists, and surveillance strategies, while ensuring contractually captured quality expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8-15 years of EPC oil and gas project execution with package or vendor quality management experience in electrical disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement package quality plans, inspection strategies, and risk mitigation measures.
  • Lead quality risk assessments for each package and implement mitigation plans.
  • Act as focal point for vendor quality, including audits, surveillance, and performance management.
  • Oversee inspection, testing, and FAT execution to ensure compliance with specifications.

Job description

  • Develop and implement package quality plans, inspection strategies, and risk mitigation measures
  • Review MR / PR / Datasheets / client specifications and translate requirements into Supplier Quality Plans (SQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and surveillance strategies.
  • Confirm package quality requirements are contractually captured in RFQ / PO / T&Cs, including:
  • Hold/Witness points, FAT/SAT requirements, calibration, traceability
  • Documentation requirements and dossier format (MRB / MDR)
  • Lead quality risk assessments for each package (criticality ranking, special processes, long-lead risk, supply chain complexity) and implement mitigation plans.
  • Act as the focal point for vendor quality, including audits, surveillance, and performance management
  • Oversee inspection, testing, and FAT execution to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
  • Manage nonconformances, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to ensure timely resolution
  • Ensure complete and accurate quality documentation and manufacturing dossiers for project handover
  • Interface with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to support project delivery
  • Work closely with package managers and engineering to resolve technical/quality queries (TQ), ensure approved deviations, and support MOC when required.
  • Ensure compliance with project quality plans, client requirements, and industry standards
Requirements
  • :Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent experienc
  • e8 to 15 years of experience in EPC oil and gas project execution with package or vendor quality management experience in Electrica
  • )ASNT NDT Level II (or strong understanding of NDE acceptance criteria
  • )CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 (for welding-intensive scopes
  • )Coating inspection certification (e.g., NACE/AMPP, FROSIO) where relevan
  • tComfortable working under schedule pressure without compromising quality compliance
  • .Strong contract negotiation and vendor management expertise
  • .Strong working knowledge of QA/QC tools, inspection methods, and dossier requirements
  • .Familiarity with relevant industry standards (as applicable to packages): API, ASME, ASTM, IEC, ISO, NACE/ISO 15156, etc
  • .Experience in vendor surveillance, FAT execution, and nonconformance management
  • .Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • .Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • .Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and supply chain tracking tools
  • .Experience in managing large-scale procurement contracts and vendor negotiations
  • .Able to travel for vendor visit
