Job summary

IES Residential is seeking a capable Single-Family Electrical Supervisor to oversee residential electrical services in the Kennesaw, GA area. You will lead a team of electricians, plan projects, and ensure safety and quality while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role requires leadership, hands-on supervision, and a thorough understanding of NEC and local codes. You will mentor staff, manage resources, and uphold safety standards on all jobs.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in residential electrical work.
• High school diploma or GED required; electrical apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of residential electrical experience, including new construction.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in single-family projects.
• Valid Georgia electrical license required.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, and residential electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and use electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods
• Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
