Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on power construction projects. The role requires hands-on supervision of craft workers, ensuring safety, quality and productivity in underground duct banks, conduit, cable trays, and terminations.

You will spend substantial time in the field, coordinating activities and enforcing contract specifications and electrical codes. Relocation to project sites is common; candidates must travel and be able to relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in industrial electrical installation scopes of work.
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing safety, quality and production
• Planning, scheduling and execution of field operations ensuring compliance with contract specifications, electrical code requirements and quality procedures for your assigned scope of work
• Coordinate and interface with other superintendents and subcontractors, to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence
• Develop a schedule based on provided man hours to ensure timely completion to support the overall project schedule
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate
• Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company’s non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies
