Job summary

Novax Recruitment seeks an Electrical Superintendent in Reno, Nevada, to lead a direct-hire crew on a major industrial construction programme. You will turn drawings into safe, well-executed field work, coordinating with site leadership as the project develops.

You will oversee daily planning for electrical installations, ensure safety and quality, and drive progress on scheduled milestones, drawing on strong field leadership and technical know-how.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical crews on sizeable industrial or manufacturing construction projects.
• Ability to work with medium-voltage distribution, switchgear, transformers or large facility power systems.
• Demonstrated ownership of electrical delivery with own crews.

Some superintendent roles are about keeping an eye on subcontractors. This one puts you at the centre of the electrical work itself.

We’re hiring an Electrical Superintendent to lead a direct-hire crew on a major industrial construction programme in Northern Nevada. You’ll turn drawings and schedules into safe, well-executed work in the field, working closely with construction leadership and the other trades as the site develops.

The work

• Lead electricians and foremen through daily planning and installation.
• Set clear expectations for safety, quality and productivity.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, access and work fronts so crews can keep moving.
• Spot clashes and construction issues early, then help resolve them on site.
• Track progress and communicate what the team needs to deliver the next milestone.

Who will stand out

You’ve led electrical crews on sizeable industrial, manufacturing, energy or similarly complex construction projects. You know how to earn the trust of the people doing the work, hold a high standard in the field and keep a programme moving when plans change.

Experience with medium-voltage distribution, switchgear, transformers or large facility power systems would be particularly relevant. Most of all, we want someone who has owned electrical delivery with their own crews.
