Job summary

The Premier Group is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on a major data center project in Mesa, Arizona. You will oversee foremen, coordinate subs, and ensure the electrical scope meets safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

This role reports to the VP of Field Operations and demands hands-on leadership, strong communication, and accountability across the field team. Travel is Arizona-based; per diem is not offered. Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12–13 years of electrical construction experience.
• Several years of experience as Electrical Superintendent.
• Experience managing multiple foremen and field crews on commercial/industrial projects.
• Data center construction experience required (at least one completed project).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, sequencing, scheduling, and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and supervise foremen and crews.
• Coordinate electrical scope from preconstruction through completion.
• Ensure field operations align with the GC's master schedule.
• Drive production, manpower planning, and workforce efficiency.
• Develop and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor progress and address scheduling conflicts or delays.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, and trade partners.
• Review RFIs and field conflicts, and resolve installation challenges.
• Assist with equipment procurement, submittals, and technical coordination.
• Ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.
• Conduct site meetings and progress reviews.
• Foster accountability and teamwork on the jobsite.

Electrical Superintendent / General Superintendent

Pay Range: $55-$62.50/hr + truck allowance and gas card

A rapidly growing electrical contractor specializing in mission-critical facilities is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent or General Superintendent to join its team in Mesa, Arizona. Position Summary

The Electrical Superintendent will lead field operations on a major data center project in Mesa, AZ, overseeing Foremen, field personnel, subcontractor coordination, and project execution. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the electrical scope is delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project schedules and client expectations.

This position reports directly to the VP of Field Operationsand requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage people, communicate with project stakeholders, and maintain accountability across the field team.

• Project Duration: Anticipated through Q3 2027
• Project Values: Up to $15M
• Travel: Arizona-based projects only

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor 5-8 Foremen across active project scopes.
• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the electrical scope from preconstruction through project completion.
• Ensure field operations align with the General Contractor's master schedule.
• Drive production, manpower planning, and workforce efficiency.
• Develop and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify scheduling conflicts or potential delays.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, clients, and trade partners.
• Review and identify RFIs, field conflicts, and installation challenges.
• Assist with equipment procurement, submittals, and technical coordination.
• Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and enforce company safety standards.
• Conduct site meetings, workforce planning sessions, and progress reviews.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12-13 years of electrical construction experience.
• Several years of experience serving as an Electrical Superintendent.
• Experience managing multiple Foremen and field crews on commercial or industrial projects.
• Previous data center construction experience is required (minimum one completed data center project).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, sequencing, scheduling, and coordination.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive project performance.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working with:
• Procore
• Autodesk products
• Textura
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician license preferred but not required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
