Job summary

Pennhab Consulting is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field crews on diverse projects. You will supervise multiple teams, plan manpower, and ensure safety, quality, and on‑time progress at active job sites.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, coordinating with contractors and inspectors, and guiding journeymen and apprentices toward compliant installations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical field experience with leadership roles.
• Strong NEC and local code knowledge for commercial/industrial installs.
• Proven ability to lead multiple crews on complex sites.
• Ability to read blueprints, one-lines, and specs.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem solving.
• Valid driver’s license; OSHA 30 preferred.

We are currently seeking an Electrical Superintendent! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.

Responsibilities:

• Field Leadership & Crew Management


• Supervise and support multiple crews across active job sites


• Plan daily and weekly manpower needs based on project schedules


• Mentor and develop journeymen and apprentices


• Conduct daily jobsite walkthroughs to ensure quality and progress


• Resolve field issues quickly and effectively


• Project Coordination


• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accurate installation


• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and inspectors


• Schedule and oversee inspections, testing, and commissioning


• Track project milestones and communicate progress to the Project Manager


• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available when needed


• Quality & Safety


• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards


• Conduct toolbox talks and safety audits


• Ensure all installations meet NEC, local codes, and project specifications


• Identify and correct deficiencies proactively


• Documentation & Reporting


• Maintain daily reports, manpower logs, and progress updates


• Document change conditions and communicate them promptly


• Assist with as‑built drawings and closeout documentation


• Track material usage and minimize waste
