CarolinaPower is seeking an experienced Superintendent in South Carolina to lead on-site construction across Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal projects. This full-time, employee-owned company offers benefits and a path for growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead craft workers and oversee assigned areas of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety requirements, work rules; document violations and assist in corrective actions and investigations.
• Ensure adherence to company, client, and project policies and standards.
• Motivate others to achieve objectives; plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions.
• Effectively plan and organize the work you are responsible for.
• Keep a daily job journal detailing actual events.
• Plan ahead for materials, tools, and information.

Job description

Our Employee-Owned company has an immediate full-time opening for a Superintendent in SC. This position will work within Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal businesses and be part of an amazing and GROWING team! All positions are regular, full-time and benefits eligible. Pay range depending on experience, skills, and knowledge.
This position requires a decisive leader with a passion for hands-on work in outdoor environments and a strong drive for construction project management work. Must have a desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately.

Job Duties

• Effectively use all resources and lead/oversee craft workers assigned to specific areas of responsibility.
• Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc. Document all violations, notify project management, and recommend/implement correction actions as required. Conduct accident investigations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, etc.
• Motivate others to achieve objectives. Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, etc.).
• Effectively plan and organize the work for which you are responsible.
• Keep daily job journal detailing actual events.
• Plan ahead for materials, tools, and information.
