Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a qualified engineer in Austin, TX for failure analysis of IC devices and module level FA. The role emphasizes hands-on FA across device and system levels with strong reporting duties.

Ideal candidates have a BSEE or equivalent in engineering or physics, extensive FA tool experience (LIT, TDR, FIB, SEM, RIE, CMP, MIP), and a track record in silicon-level analysis. This in-person position requires deep technical writing and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• BSEE with 5+ years of experience or equivalent degree in engineering.
• Hands-on proficiency with Physical and Electrical Failure Analysis at Silicon level.
• In-depth knowledge and proficiency with board level FA.
• Hands on experience with EFA tools (LIT, TDR, FIB, SEM, RIE, CMP, MIP) and related sample prep techniques.

• Hands on experience with EFA tools such as LIT, TDR, FIB, SEM, RIE, CMP, MIP, and decapsulatation, sample preparation and Emission microscopy, Laser scan microscopy, micro-probing and Nano-probing.

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

• Hand on experience in failure analysis in multiple tools and techniques. .
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilit.

Location: Austin, TX (5 days in person)

Salary Range: $120,000 - $200,000 a year
