Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division in Richmond, VA is seeking a Shipping Assembler on 1st Shift to prepare finished electrical units (RPP, STS, PDU, XFMR) for shipment, inspect quality, and package to protect during transit.

You’ll follow SOPs, read blueprints, use hand and power tools, and work with 5S+ housekeeping while supporting efficiency and safety initiatives. Overtime opportunities and cross-training are available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Candidate should have experience in production, packaging or construction.
• Ability to read SOPs, wiring diagrams, and bills of material.

Responsibilities

• Build sub-assemblies and assemblies following SOPs.
• Assemble using blueprints or schematics in manufacturing environments.
• Visual inspection of material before and after assembly.
• Create shipping labels, invoices, and other shipment docs.
• Use fixtures and hand/power tools to assemble or repair products.
• Ensure quality standards and perform necessary adjustments.
