CMC Electric, LLC is seeking a Field Service Tech – Residential Electrician to cover the Raleigh-Durham area from our Clayton, NC base. You will work independently, with a stable schedule and competitive pay, while earning commissions.

The role requires at least 4 years in residential electrical services, a current driver’s license, and thorough knowledge of residential electrical codes. You’ll travel to job sites from home for daily service calls and be supported by a strong benefits package.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A FIELD SERVICE TECH - RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICIAN

At least 4 years of experience in residential electrical services is preferred for this position. Does that sound like you? If so, and you meet the following criteria, we want you as our Field Service Tech - Residential Electrician!

DAY-TO-DAY

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Technicians dispatch directly from home to job sites, with no daily commute to a central office required.

In this role, you'll travel directly to job sites throughout the Raleigh-Durham area. You'll meet with homeowners, assess their electrical needs, present clear options, and perform diagnostics and repairs in compliance with code. You'll typically complete 3–4 service calls per day, supported by a responsive dispatch team and equipped with the tools and technology to perform at your best.
