Job summary

Prism Electric is hiring an Electrical Service Technician in Texas. The role involves working on commercial and light industrial systems, with a focus on safe jobsite practices, NEC compliance, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe site operations and keep the jobsite organized and compliant with PPE.
• Adhere to NEC requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service in client-facing situations.
• Troubleshoot commercial and manufacturing systems.
• Install motor control systems and related equipment.
• Perform commercial and light industrial installations.
• Install generators, UPS, and lighting systems.

Description

The job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, and rain. Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses always), respirator when required. Able to work 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required and night shifts. Includes crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects more than 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects is required. Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a safe environment at all jobsites, keeping the site clean and organized , and wearing all PPE.
• Adhering to NEC requirements.
• Representing Prism Electric, Inc. well by providing excellent customer service when in client facing situations.
• Troubleshooting a wide variety of commercial and manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshooting and instillation of motor control systems .

Requirements

• Minimum of three years' experience working in a commercial service setting.
• State of Texas Journeyman or Masters license.
