Job summary

Suburban Enterprises is seeking an Electrical Service Technician (Licensed Electrician) to diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems across Appleton’s residential, commercial, and industrial clients. You will deliver high-quality service, ensure safety compliance, and maintain strong client relationships.

You’ll work on challenging projects, respond to emergencies, and document work for accuracy and code adherence.

Qualifications

• Must hold a WI State Journeyman license.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Knowledge of codes and regulations and strong commitment to safety.
• Proven ability to explain issues clearly to clients and work independently.

Responsibilities

The Role – Electrical Service Technician (Licensed Electrician)

We are seeking a Licensed Electrician who’s ready to take their career to the next level. As an Electrical Service Technician at Suburban Enterprises, you will play a key role in providing electrical service and maintenance to residential, commercial, and industrial clients across the Appleton area. Your expertise will help ensure that our clients' electrical systems are operating safely, efficiently, and up to code.

What You'll Do

• Problem Solving: Diagnose and repair electrical systems like a pro. Whether it’s troubleshooting an outlet or fixing complex industrial systems, you’ll be the go-to expert.
• Installation & Maintenance: Install and maintain electrical systems, lighting, outlets, and more — keeping things running smoothly in both residential and commercial settings.
• Customer Service Excellence: Deliver high-quality service with a smile! You’ll be the face of Suburban Enterprises, interacting with clients and building lasting relationships.
• Emergency Response: Be ready to step in when our clients need help the most — no two days are the same, and every problem is a new adventure!
• Stay Organized: Document your work, track progress, and ensure everything is done to code. Accuracy is key!

What You Bring (Required Experience)

• WI State Journeyman license – You’ve got the credentials to back up your skills.
• Hands-On Expertise: You’re experienced in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems.
• Safety-First Mentality: You know all the codes and regulations and follow them with precision to keep everyone safe.
• People Skills: You connect easily with clients, explain issues and solutions clearly, and bring a positive attitude to every interaction.
• Self-Starter: You’re independent, motivated, and ready to take charge of your workday.
• A Love for Variety: No two days are the same, and you thrive on the challenge of new problems to solve!

Bonus Points For (Preferred Experience)

• Out of state journeyman license.
• Master’s license
• Proficiency in Arc Flash and thermal imaging reports.
