Job summary

Complete Comfort is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to join our growing team servicing residential and light commercial projects in Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee.

You will troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, panels, wiring, and backup generators while ensuring safety and NEC compliance. Excellent communication and a strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of electrical experience, preferably residential and light commercial.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Working knowledge of NEC and electrical safety requirements.
• Generator experience is a plus.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Professional communication skills.
• Reliable work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and confidently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair residential and light commercial electrical systems
• Complete electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs
• Work with panels, circuits, wiring, switches, outlets, and other electrical components
• Install, maintain, and service backup generators and power systems
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Identify electrical issues and determine effective repair solutions
• Perform work according to NEC requirements and applicable local codes
• Explain electrical issues and recommended solutions to customers
• Coordinate with HVAC technicians when projects involve integrated electrical and mechanical systems
• Complete job documentation and maintain accurate service records
• Keep jobsites safe, clean, and professional

Complete Comfort is looking for a skilled Electrical Service Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on opportunity for an electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, installations, and working directly with customers on residential and light commercial projects.

You’ll work across a variety of electrical systems, including service work, electrical installations, panels, wiring, and backup generators. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, solves problems confidently, and cares about doing the job correctly the first time.

Pay & Stability

• $29-$35/hour, based on experience
