Job summary

Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is hiring for an electrical service role in Tennessee. The position focuses on delivering exceptional service, performing inspections, repairs, and maintaining documentation.

You will work with a team to ensure safety, code compliance, and customer satisfaction across residential electrical tasks. You will participate in site inspections, discuss repair options with customers, and help keep vehicles and tools organized, while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years' experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical service issues.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive.
• Strong organizational and detail orientation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive customer experience.
• Assist in performing a thorough and accurate electrical inspection including Health and Safety Checklist and communicate findings to the customer in a written option sheet.
• Assist in completing all electrical repairs and replacements to applicable code.
• Assist in the completion of all required documentation on services and collects, records, and delivers fees to office administration.
• Transport materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned tools.
• Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried.
• Follow state and local laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes.
• Assist in preparing a detailed finding report with pictures for the Team Lead to discuss with the customer.
• Present repair options to include cost using the options sheet.
• Assist in recording all material used or consumed on the job for job costing and replenishing.
• Understand when to issue a "Lock Out/Tag Out" tag and the required follow-up steps.
• Protect customer's home from damage while working and leave customer's home cleaner than when you arrived.
• Inform a team lead/supervisor/manager if the customer does not have electrical service before leaving the call.
• Informs team lead/manager or team leader of any safety issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
