Brown and Caldwell in Walnut Creek, CA seeks an Electrical Revit Designer to design complex electrical systems using Revit and AutoCAD, develop wiring diagrams and layouts, and support other engineers.

Requires at least 4 years of electrical design experience and an associate degree in electrical engineering technology or related field; mentoring and cross-discipline coordination are part of the role.

Job description

The Electrical Revit Designer role has responsibility for the design and development of complex electrical systems utilizing Revit and AutoCAD, including wiring diagrams and electrical system layouts, along with assisting less experienced team members. This role ensures designs meet regulatory requirements, project specifications and design gate requirements. The role applies skills to complete a broad range of tasks and often completes assignments with limited supervision and exercises latitude for independent judgement. The role can make decisions limited to a narrow scope of responsibilities as determined by a licensed engineer.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks related to electrical drawing development.
• Perform cable tray and conduit design.
• Assist with the layout of electrical equipment.
• Carry out lighting, devices, and circuit design.
• Develop competence in using Revit / AutoCAD.

Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A: $30.70 - $41.90

Location B: $34.10 - $46.20

Location C: $37.00 - $50.50
