Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America in Valdosta, GA is seeking an Electrical Reliability Engineer to plan and execute mill reliability programs for electrical systems. You will collaborate with maintenance and engineering to improve equipment reliability and manage outages with a focus on safety and cost efficiency.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 2–5 years of electrical maintenance experience, plus proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD, and U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years' experience in Electrical maintenance.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive electrical maintenance programs from conception to implementation.
• Support daily, monthly outages and annual outages with maintenance and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with mechanical maintenance/engineering and operations to complete projects and programs.
• Provide training, stock spare parts, and create/update drawings and documentation.
• Utilize RCFA to diagnose and solve equipment issues and reduce downtime.
• Manage contractors to perform maintenance and capital projects.
