Job summary

Cummins is seeking an Electrical Qualification Agent to join our quality, inspection, and safety team. The role covers electrical systems including medium/high and low voltage, generator installations, EV charger work, and loadbank testing.

A current Master Electrician license is required with reciprocity for other states as needed. Expect 75–90% travel and active collaboration with PEM/PM/Data Center and Start & Test teams.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Master Electrician license (or equivalent) in your home state and obtain reciprocity licenses as needed.
• Travel 75–90% across home state and reciprocal states.
• Inspect electrical installations, review designs, issue permits, educate stakeholders, and enforce NEC/NFPA70e codes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect new electrical installations and review plans to ensure compliance with NEC/NFPA70e.
• Review and obtain electrical permits for state and local activities.
• Educate stakeholders and enforce electrical safety standards across teams.
• Maintain compliance records and participate in safety meetings and JSO/JSA processes.
• Travel to job sites and coordinate with PEM/PM/Data Center and Start & Test teams.
