Job summary

CEC Companies in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an Electrical Senior Quality Control Specialist to lead quality, safety, and compliance of electrical systems across projects. You will build project-specific QA programs and train onsite teams to inspect, test, and assess installations to meet NEC/IEC/ISO standards.

The role requires ~75-100% travel, a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, proven QC experience in electrical projects, and strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, quality control, or related field preferred.
• Proven quality control experience in electrical industry (manufacturing, construction, or engineering).
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test electrical systems, components, and equipment to verify function and specs.
• Create and enforce the quality management plan for the project/site.
• Implement QC measures and develop procedures to prevent defects and ensure reliability.
• Monitor compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Document results, report non-conformances, and drive corrective actions.
