Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring an Electrical QC Supervisor to provide day-to-day leadership of quality control on assigned projects. You will supervise QC personnel, ensure contract compliance, and drive the 3-Phase Quality Control process across Definable Features of Work.

You will serve as the primary quality liaison with project leadership, GCs, and Owners, ensuring timely documentation and continuous improvement, while coordinating inspections and closeout activities.

Qualifications

Minimum 8+ years electrical construction experience on construction similar to the relevant contract; high school diploma or GED.
Extensive knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System on military bases or government contracts.
Journeyman Electrical License preferred; apprenticeship program completion preferred.
Must pass basic background check.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all project quality control activities to ensure contract compliance and company standards.
Supervise QC Inspectors; assign, prioritize, and coach team performance.
Direct implementation of the 3-Phase Quality Control process across Definable Features of Work.
Review design/construction docs for constructability, quality risks, and contract compliance; escalate issues.
Establish and maintain project-specific quality plans, inspection procedures, and checklists.
Oversee field inspections and verification activities; document and correct deficiencies.
Lead resolution and closeout of quality and commissioning punch-list items.
Serve as primary quality interface with Project Management, Construction, and Owners.
Make day-to-day quality decisions; escalate high-risk issues to leadership.
Participate in project and safety meetings to address quality risks and corrective actions.
Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure accurate, timely quality documentation and compliance tracking.

The Electrical QC Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership of quality control activities on assigned projects. This role is responsible for supervising QC personnel, ensuring contract compliance, driving consistent implementation of the 3-Phase Quality Control process, and serving as the primary quality liaison with project leadership, General Contractors, and Owners. The supervisor ensures quality standards are met through effective planning, inspection oversight, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

Supervise, assign, and prioritize work for Quality Control Inspectors; monitor performance and provide coaching and guidance.

Qualifications

The candidate must have a minimum of 8+ years electrical construction experience on construction similar to the relevant contract with a high school diploma / GED.
Extensive knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System Experience on military bases, government contracts
Journeyman's Electrical License, preferred and graduate from a certified Apprenticeship Program, preferred
Must pass basic background check
