Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation seeks a qualified Electrician to plan and enforce quality standards for light modular processes and products. You will interpret electrical, fire detection, and telecom drawings, ensuring conformance with project specs.

The role requires a licensed Journeyman Electrician with at least five years of experience and a current Alaska license, plus a valid driver’s license. Expect field inspections, data recording, and coordination with procurement and site management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 10 years related experience.
• Minimum 5 years as a licensed Journeyman Electrician.
• Current Alaska Electrical Journeyman Fitness License.
• Driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical, fire detection, and telecom drawings with management to set quality standards.
• Inspect modular camp units during installation to ensure conformance with drawings and quality standards.
• Record test data and apply statistical quality control procedures.
• Evaluate data and write reports to validate deviations from standards.
• Recommend modifications to existing quality or production standards for optimum quality.
• Record testing data and input for project turnover.
• Coordinate with procurement, supervision, and management on quality issues.
• Guide workers on company and project quality requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest codes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
