Job summary

Amteck is seeking a QA/QC Coordinator for our new construction division. This is a traveling position with long‑term opportunities and benefits.

After completion you may move to another project within Amteck, expanding your electrical skill set and taking advantage of our training in low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation. The role requires deep field QA/QC expertise, a proven track record in electrical construction, and the ability to read blueprints and installation

Qualifications

• Requires at least 10 years in Electrical Construction.
• Prefer 2 years of QAQC experience in the field.
• License such as JM or Amteck Certification preferred.

Job description

Amteck is currently looking to add QAQC Coordinator for our new construction division. This is a traveling position. We offer long‑term opportunities as well as steady work, benefits and a 401K. After completion you will be able to move to another project within Amteck. We are looking for people who are interested in working with a company that promotes growth and longevity within the trade. You will have the ability to diversify your electrical skill set with being able to learn others within Amteck. We have training for low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation among other skill sets.

Requirements Include But Aren't Limited To The Following

• Must have at least 10 years’ experience in the Electrical Construction Field.
• Prefer to have at least 2 years' prior experience as QAQC in the field.
• A valid JM license or Amteck Certification is preferred for this role.
• Must have a working knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice and standards relating to electrical work.
• Must be able to read, interpret, implement, and enforce the NEC.
• Must be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Capable of using a laptop, tablet, and associated programs to perform the above-mentioned tasks.
• Must be capable of reading and understanding installation instructions of equipment to ensure proper installation techniques are followed.
