Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician Qualification or equivalent documented electrical trade experience.
• Minimum 3 years of electrical construction, inspection, or QA experience.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 construction training.
• NFPA 70E electrical safety training.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with NEC requirements and installation best practices.
• Experience identifying installation deficiencies and tracking corrections.
• Comfort using tablets and digital inspection/documentation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections of electrical installations across the project.
• Verify workmanship against drawings, specs, submittals and requirements.
• Inspect cables, trays, conduit, grounding and bonding.
• Inspect switchgear, transformers, panelboards and busway systems.
• Verify conductor sizing, labeling, and torque requirements.
• Identify nonconforming work and track corrective actions.
• Review testing records and complete QA/QC documentation.
• Support prefunctional inspections and L1-L3 commissioning activities.
• Maintain QA/QC records in construction management systems.

Pay Rate:$62/HR - $93/OT
Per Diem: $150/day
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours: Approximately 50 Hours Per Week

Required Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician Qualification or Equivalent Documented Electrical Trade Experience

• Documented Electrical Safety Training Aligned with NFPA 70E
• Ability to Verify Establishment of an Electrically Safe Work Condition
• Ability to Read and Interpret Electrical Drawings, Installation Details, Equipment Submittals, and Project Specifications

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform QA/QC inspections of electrical installations throughout the project
• Verify electrical workmanship against drawings, specifications, submittals, and project requirements
• Inspect cable installations, terminations, cable tray, conduit, grounding, and bonding
• Inspect switchgear, transformers, panelboards, and busway systems
• Verify conductor sizing, cable identification, labeling, equipment protection, and torque requirements
• Identify and document nonconforming installations and deficiencies
• Track corrective actions and verify deficiencies have been properly resolved
• Review electrical testing records including insulation resistance, continuity, grounding, and torque verification
• Complete electrical QA/QC checklists and equipment tracking records
• Support electrical prefunctional inspections and checklists
• Support L1-L3 commissioning activities
• Prepare electrical systems and equipment for commissioning and turnover
• Maintain inspection records and QA/QC documentation through internal and external construction management systems
