Job summary

Big-D Mission Critical, a division of Big-D Construction Corporation, is seeking an Electrical QA/QC Manager to oversee electrical installation quality and readiness on critical facilities. This role offers a path to impact projects from design through commissioning, with a focus on rigorous QA/QC processes.

The position can be based in Salt Lake City, UT, or performed in a traveling capacity. Candidates should have 7+ years of electrical construction experience, with experience in mission

Qualifications

• 7+ years electrical construction experience.
• Experience with mission critical or data center projects.
• Campus-scale programs experience.
• Medium-voltage systems preferred.
• Commissioning management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installation quality and readiness.
• Assist in developing QA standards and continuous improvement evaluations and revisions.
• Coordinate Quality Reviews with project teams and submits reviews to management.
• Performs onsite inspections of equipment and installations.
• Responsible for reporting all QA/QC activities through project-specific software and internal communications.
• Proactively works with the project team to ensure all installations are installed correctly the first time.
• Performs work onsite with the project team in performing all inspections and reporting.
• Develops a thorough understanding of project specifications, design, equipment, installations, quality standards, and reporting requirements.
• Develops project-specific QA/QC plans and ensures implementation with the project team.
