Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks an Electrical Quality Control Manager (QA/QC) for a large-scale construction project in Ironton, OH. The role focuses on field inspections of installed electrical systems, verifying workmanship, and maintaining deficiency documentation for commissioning readiness.

The candidate will inspect against drawings, specifications, NEC requirements, and project standards, supporting prefunctional checks and L1-L3 readiness with digital records and turnover packages.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrician qualification or equivalent documented electrical trade experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant electrical construction, inspection, or quality assurance experience.
• Experience on hyperscale data centers, industrial facilities, or large commercial electrical construction projects.
• Familiarity with NETA ATS and manufacturer-recommended testing requirements.
• Experience with inspection software such as ACC Build, BIM 360, Procore, Cx Alloy.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction training.
• Experience supporting electrical prefunctional checklists and L1-L3 commissioning activities.
• Electrical safety training aligned with NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of installed electrical systems and equipment.
• Verify electrical workmanship against drawings, specifications, approved submittals, installation details, and project requirements.
• Inspect cable installations, terminations, conduit, grounding and bonding, switchgear, transformers, panelboards, and busway.
• Identify installation deficiencies and document nonconforming conditions.
• Track deficiencies through resolution and verify completed corrective actions.
• Review equipment torque requirements, cable identification, conductor sizing, labeling, and equipment protection.
• Review electrical testing documentation including insulation resistance, continuity, grounding, and torque verification records.
• Complete quality control checklists, inspection reports, equipment tracking records, and turnover documentation.
• Support prefunctional checklists and L1-L3 commissioning activities
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality records within applicable construction management systems
• Coordinate inspection readiness and documentation required for commissioning and turnover
