Job summary

Lotusworks in Beloit, OH is seeking an Electrical QCx Engineer responsible for executing quality assurance activities on semiconductor construction projects. This role ensures compliance with client specifications and industry standards before energization.

Key responsibilities include maintaining a project-specific QA/QC plan, performing inspections, and superseding testing activities. Applicants should possess a Journeyman Electrical License, OSHA 10, and NFPA 70E certification.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrical License or equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred but not required.
• OSHA 10 Certification and NFPA 70E Certification needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement electrical QA/QC plan and ensure compliance.
• Review design drawings for compliance.
• Develop and execute Inspection & Test Plans.
• Perform inspections of electrical installations.
• Coordinate Factory and Site Acceptance Tests.
• Oversee testing activities and ensure traceability.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and records.
• Work closely with teams to resolve quality issues.

Skills

Knowledge of electrical construction and commissioning processes

Experience in semiconductor or data center environments

Ability to interpret electrical drawings

Understanding of MV/LV switchgear and UPS systems

Experience with electrical testing

Strong organizational skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to resolve non-conformance issues

Proficiency in QA/QC documentation systems

Education

Journeyman Electrical License or Electrical Craft Certification

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

OSHA 10 Certification

NFPA 70E Certification
